CENTER FOR HEALTH CARE STRATEGIES TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE OPPORTUNITY
The SCDuE team has been selected to participate in the Center for Health Care Strategies’ (CHCS) new initiative, Improving New Systems of Integration for Dual Eligibles (INSIDE). CHCS will provide a broad range of assistance with program design and implementation for up to 18 states that are developing programs to integrate Medicare and Medicaid services for dually eligible beneficiaries. Through the fall of 2014, CHCS will provide technical assistance and a platform for sharing resources among participating states and between the states and federal officials. CHCS will use a series of in-person meetings, topic-specific conference calls, webinars, and ad hoc technical assistance to accomplish this objective. Travel will be supported to three in-person meetings, with the first of which is planned for September 25-27, 2013.
