PROVIDER FORUMS FOR HEALTHY CONNECTIONS PRIME | NOVEMBER 2013

The South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (SCDHHS) is hosting provider forums throughout the state concerning Healthy Connections Prime.  During the upcoming forums, both SCDHHS and participating CICOs will address the impact of this program on our health care system and on specific provider types.  These targeted sessions will also give providers the opportunity to ask questions regarding the implementation of this new program.  Below are dates and times for the statewide forums:

Nursing Facilities:  1pm - 2pm

Physicians:  2:15pm - 3:15pm

General Session:  3:30pm - 5pm

Hospitals:  9am - 10am

HCBS:  10:15am - 11:15am

General session:  11:30am-12:30pm

Any provider may attend the general sessions; however, SCDHHS will provide separate training sessions for providers of the following services:  behavioral health, hospice, pharmacy, end stage renal disease and community long term care attendant care.  These sessions will be held in winter 2014.
