Effective January 1, 2021, Healthy Connections Prime is now available in Darlington County and Horry County. Beneficiaries in these counties are now included in the program's passive enrollment efforts. Healthy Connections Prime has issued a December 2020 Stakeholder Update. This release features information regarding Absolute Total Care's county expansion efforts, SC Thrive community outreach efforts, updated member stories/testimonials, and guidance regarding the 2021 Medicare-Medicaid Plan comparison chart.

Over the last few months, our Medicare-Medicaid Plans (MMPs) have expanded to a few counties.
- Absolute Total Care has expanded into Cherokee and Dorchester.
- First Choice VIP Care Plus has expanded into Aiken and Dorchester.
- Molina Dual Options has expanded into Aiken, Berkeley and Cherokee.

Effective January 1, 2021, Healthy Connections Prime will be available in Darlington County and Horry County.
Beneficiaries in these counties are currently being passively enrolled for January and are receiving details on the program and their enrollment. Beneficiaries will receive their new insurance card from their health plan prior to January and should use this card for all services for Medicare, Medicaid, and Part D prescription needs starting January 1.

Healthy Connections Prime has released the June 2019 Stakeholder Update which focuses on County Coverage Expansion within the demonstration, a highlight on coverage model comparisons for members, and Medicaid Advantage Marketing Do's and Dont's. Provider specific guidance has also been released with an updated process for Nursing Facilities, Hospice, and Institutional Respite Providers.
