If you are a Healthy Connections Medicaid member and you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, including cough, fever, or shortness of breath, there are a number of free resources that allow you to receive care from your home.

Over the Phone

Each Medicaid managed care organization (MCO) maintains a 24-hour nurse call line to answer member questions about their health. Healthy Connections Medicaid members who are enrolled in a managed care plan can access this resource by calling the managed care customer service number listed on their Medicaid managed care plan card.

Virtual Visits

There are also a number of free resources offered by telehealth virtual care providers. These options are available to anyone experiencing COVID-19 symptoms in South Carolina. In order to access the free consult, use the promo code COVID19.

Also, Self Regional Healthcare is offering telephone screening. Call the COVID-19 Screening Line at (864) 725-4200.

If Healthy Connections Medicaid members are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 and are unable or unwilling to access the free resources listed above, they should seek care through their physician.
