August Monthly Webinar

A Vision for Employment for Youth with Behavioral Health Needs
Tuesday, August 1, 2017, 10 a.m.

Employment services for youth is a primary feature of the proposed Palmetto Coordinated System of Care (PCSC) waiver program. The waiver will provide services for youth up to age 21 with significant behavioral health needs who would otherwise be in psychiatric hospitals. The proposed waiver will create several new home and community-based services to help children live in the community, stay in school, and when possible live in their home.

The webinar will help participants understand what employment services are, the employment services which will be offered in the proposed waiver and how these services fit into South Carolina’s current system.  Families, youth, providers and others who are interested in learning more about these services, the waiver and September’s upcoming conference are encouraged to join Aug. 1 from 10-11:30 a.m.

Register. For those who are unable to participate in the live webinar, a link to the recording will be posted on the PCSC Presentations and Webinars page.

*One Social Work Contact Hour will be awarded to registered participants upon request. Details regarding CEU requirements will be communicated during the webinar.
