Group 1: Deadline May 4

The 2018 revalidation process for Group 1 begins April 6, 2018, and ends May 4, 2018. Group 1 consists of providers who enrolled between Dec. 1, 2012-Dec.31, 2013. The first group to begin the revalidation process is as follows:

  • Chiropractor Group   
  • Dental Group   
  • Optician Group
  • Optometrist Group   
  • Managed Care   
  • Nursing Home
  • Pharmacy   
  • Physician Group   
  • Podiatrist Group

In addition, the following provider type located within Abbeville, Aiken, Allendale, Anderson, Bamberg, Barnwell, Beaufort, Berkeley, Calhoun, Charleston, Cherokee, Chester, Chesterfield, Clarendon, Colleton, Darlington, Dillon, Dorchester, Fairfield, Florence, Georgetown, Georgia within Medicaid Service Area, Georgia outside Medicaid Service Area, Greenville, Greenwood, Hampton, Horry, Jasper, Kershaw, Lancaster, Laurens, Lee, Lexington, McCormick, Marion, Marlboro, Newberry, North Carolina within Medicaid Service Area, North Carolina outside Medicaid Service Area, Oconee, Orangeburg, Pickens, Richland, Saluda, Spartanburg, Sumter, Union, Williamsburg and York counties are also in Group 1 and require a site visit.

  • Community Long Term Care  

Do not begin the revalidation process until you receive notification. The notification contains pertinent information needed to start and complete the revalidation process.

Revalidation notification letters were sent to Group 1 providers on April 4, 2018. The letters include a unique revalidation code. This code will allow the provider’s enrollment information to prepopulate in the revalidation portal for added convenience. The process should only take a few minutes to complete. If you experience any issues, or if you have not received your letter, please contact the Provider Service Center at (888) 289-0709 and reference issue code REVAL.

To find out if you are a Group 1 provider, please refer to the Provider Revalidation Group 1 List. If there is a discrepancy in your mailing information, please contact the Provider Servcie Center at (888) 289-0709 and reference issue code REVAL as soon as possible. This is an important peice of enrollment information. While the call center representative cannot change your address for you, the representative can instruct you on the process of changing your address.
