The 2019 revalidation process for Group 1 begins July 29, 2019, and ends Aug. 26, 2019. Group 1 consists of selected providers listed in the provider groups below

  • Chiropractor Group
  • Dental Group
  • Home Health
  • Hospice
  • Individual Chiropractor
  • Individual Dentist
  • Individual Optician
  • Individual Physician
  • Individual Podiatrist
  • Inpatient Hospital
  • Medical Clinics
  • Nursing Home
  • Optician Group
  • Optometrist Group
  • Other Medical Professionals
  • Outpatient Hospital
  • Pharmacy
  • Physician Group
  • Podiatrist Group

In addition, The following provider types located within Abbeville, Aiken, Anderson, Barnwell, Beaufort, Berkeley, Charleston, Cherokee, Chester, Chesterfield, Clarendon, Colleton, Darlington, Dillon, Dorchester, Fairfield, Florence, Georgia outside Medicaid Service Area, Georgia within Medicaid Service Area, Georgetown, Greenville, Greenwood, Horry, Jasper, Kershaw, Lancaster, Laurens, Lexington, Marion, Marlboro, North Carolina other Medicaid Service Area, North Carolina within Medicaid Service Area, Newberry, Oconee, Orangeburg, Pickens, Richland, Spartanburg, Sumter, Union, Williamsburg, York and Other counties are also in Group 1 and require a site visit.

Do not begin the revalidation process until you receive notification. The notification contains pertinent information needed to start and complete the revalidation process.

Revalidation notification letters were sent to Group 1 providers July 26, 2019. The letters include a unique revalidation code. This code will allow the provider’s enrollment information to prepopulate in the revalidation portal for added convenience. The process should only take a few minutes to complete. If you experience any issues, or if you have not received your letter, please contact the Provider Service Center at (888) 289-0709 and reference issue code REVAL.

To find out if you are a Group 1 provider, please refer to the Provider Revalidation Group 1 List. If there is a discrepancy in your mailing information, please contact the Provider Servcie Center at (888) 289-0709 and reference issue code REVAL as soon as possible. This is an important peice of enrollment information. While the call center representative cannot change your address for you, the representative can instruct you on the process of changing your address.
